About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Manufacturing Operations Manager to join our team at Jobot. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for overseeing manufacturing operations to ensure optimal productivity and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee manufacturing operations to ensure optimal productivity and efficiency.
  • Implement and manage lockout-tagout (LOTO) procedures to ensure employee safety.
  • Coordinate and manage subcontractors to ensure timely and quality machine installations.
  • Conduct regular machine maintenance and mechanical maintenance to prevent downtime and enhance operational efficiency.
  • Read and interpret blueprints to guide manufacturing processes.
  • Ensure adherence to OSHA safety standards and implement safety protocols to create a safe and healthy work environment.
  • Identify and resolve any issues or bottlenecks in the manufacturing process.
  • Collaborate with other team members to drive continuous improvement in manufacturing operations.
Requirements
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in industrial manufacturing, with a strong focus on OSHA safety, engineering, blueprint reading, LOTO procedures, safety protocols, managing subcontractors, machine installations, machine maintenance, and mechanical maintenance.
  • A bachelor's degree in Engineering, Industrial Technology, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in managing and coordinating subcontractors.
  • Strong knowledge of OSHA safety standards and safety protocols.
  • Demonstrated ability to read and interpret blueprints.
  • Exceptional problem-solving skills and the ability to identify and resolve issues in the manufacturing process.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with team members at all levels.
  • Strong organizational and project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and meet deadlines.
  • A proactive approach to work, with the ability to anticipate and prevent potential issues before they arise.
