Job Summary

We are seeking a seasoned Manufacturing Operations Supervisor to lead our production assembly team at General Dynamics Mission Systems. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day workflow of our manufacturing associates, ensuring the efficient production of high-quality products.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and develop a team of manufacturing associates to achieve production schedules, cost, quality, and cycle time targets.
  • Assign work within the production process to meet schedule, cost, quality, and cycle time objectives.
  • Ensure employee motivation, counseling, and discipline, as well as training certifications are up to date for employees within your area of responsibility.
  • Measure employee performance, grow employee capability, and provide performance input for salary planning.
  • Direct subordinates through lead employees, review production schedules, material, and manpower resources to assign employees to maximize production objectives.
  • Inform assigned employees of production and material problems and coordinate with support groups to resolve problems affecting schedules.
  • Participate in establishing and modifying operational methods and processes by recommending changes in materials, equipment, and procedures.
  • Maintain a variety of reports, records, and production documentation to reflect schedules, performance, methods, etc.

What We Offer

At General Dynamics Mission Systems, we offer a competitive salary range of $100,000 to $108,953.85 per year, as well as a comprehensive benefits package and a flexible work environment where contributions are recognized and rewarded.
