Position Summary:
The Manufacturing Supervisor will oversee a dedicated team of production and support personnel within our manufacturing operations. This role is pivotal in managing daily activities and plays a crucial part in monitoring production efficiency, maintenance operations, and personnel management.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure all quality assurance tasks for designated production cells are completed and documented in accordance with established standards.
- Contribute to cost reduction initiatives and process enhancements to optimize operational efficiency.
- Assist in the scheduling of production cells to ensure adherence to production timelines.
- Support the sequencing of work to maximize productivity within the production cell.
- Coordinate material logistics and resolve any issues to guarantee smooth operations.
- Monitor performance metrics and productivity levels to drive operational excellence.
- Encourage innovation in production methods, including the integration of advanced manufacturing techniques.
- Engage with clients to identify their needs and ensure high standards of service delivery.
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- A minimum of 2 years of supervisory experience in a manufacturing setting.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in a relevant field.
- Experience in manufacturing processes.
- Proficient in data analysis using Excel, PowerPoint, and/or MS Access.
- Demonstrated ability to lead business process improvement initiatives.
- Strong analytical and strategic thinking capabilities.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Results-oriented with a collaborative approach.
- Familiarity with SQL databases and queries.
- Knowledge of PFEP (Planned for Every Part) methodologies.
