Bo-Mac Contractors, Ltd. is seeking a dedicated and experienced Marine Construction Supervisor to join our team. This role presents an exciting opportunity for individuals who are committed to achieving project excellence and delivering outstanding results. Candidates must prioritize safety and adhere to all company safety protocols.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee deck operations and manage crews during pile installation and extraction, ensuring smooth construction processes.
  • Act as a hands-on supervisor on deck, actively engaging with the crew when not fulfilling other responsibilities.
  • Direct all crane lifting activities utilizing hand and radio signals effectively.
  • Coordinate mooring operations for the barge at the start and end of shifts.
  • Ensure the availability of qualified personnel to facilitate safe and efficient operations.
  • Represent the Barge Superintendent in supervising the safe execution of project installation as per established procedures.
  • Uphold safety standards by refusing unsafe work practices and ensuring compliance with safety regulations.
  • Implement emergency response protocols and guide crews on their roles during incidents.
  • Maintain and repair all pile driving equipment, cranes, and barges, keeping thorough records of maintenance and safety checks.
  • Collaborate with crane operators to inspect rigging for any deficiencies and address them promptly.
  • Ensure safe loading and unloading of equipment on transport vehicles, adhering to weight and height regulations.
  • Construct job-specific wooden forms and assemble commercial form systems, including setting and tying steel as necessary.
  • Manage material loading and unloading, perform site cleanup, and maintain overall job site organization.
  • Monitor and maintain grade stakes and survey markings accurately.
  • Deliver quality workmanship, promote productivity, and foster a safe working environment.
  • Conduct weekly safety meetings and specific incident discussions as required.
  • Report daily operations, project advancements, and crew hours to the project manager.
  • Participate in preconstruction and weekly construction meetings as necessary.
  • Provide insights regarding equipment access for new projects.
  • Maintain an accurate inventory of tools, ensuring timely repairs and replacements.
Qualifications
  • A minimum of 3-5 years of relevant experience as a Marine Construction Supervisor, particularly in Marine Construction, Pile Driving, Pier Construction, and Marina Installation.
