Marine Project Engineer Overview
We are looking for a skilled Marine Project Engineer to take charge of various marine engineering initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Strategically plan, coordinate, and manage marine engineering projects from start to finish, ensuring alignment with client specifications, budgetary limits, and timelines.
  • Execute comprehensive design and analysis of marine structures and systems, focusing on hull design, stability assessments, and structural integrity evaluations.
  • Generate and assess engineering drawings, specifications, reports, and other technical documents.
  • Guarantee compliance with applicable industry standards, regulations, and classification society mandates (e.g., ABS, DNV, USCG).
  • Engage with clients to grasp project needs, offer technical insights, and maintain client satisfaction throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Collaborate closely with engineering, design, and production teams to ensure efficient project execution and address any technical issues that may arise.
  • Remain informed about the latest developments in marine engineering and integrate innovative solutions to improve project results.

Position Requirements:

  • Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Naval Architecture & Maritime Engineering from an accredited institution.
  • Over 10 years of experience in Naval Architecture and Design.
  • Minimum of 5 years in marine project engineering, with substantial expertise in vessel design and construction.
  • Proficient in engineering software (e.g., AutoCAD, ANSYS, Rhino) and possess a solid understanding of marine engineering principles and practices.

Certifications:

  • Professional Engineer (P.E.) license is preferred.
