Marine Project Engineer Overview
We are looking for a skilled Marine Project Engineer to contribute to our projects.

The Marine Project Engineer will take charge of various marine engineering initiatives, ensuring adherence to technical specifications, budgetary limits, and timelines.

This position demands a robust background in marine engineering, exceptional project management capabilities, and the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse teams.

Key Responsibilities of the Marine Project Engineer

  • Strategically plan, coordinate, and manage marine engineering projects from start to finish, ensuring alignment with client expectations, budget, and timelines.
  • Perform comprehensive design and analysis of marine structures and systems, including hull design, stability evaluations, and structural integrity assessments.
  • Create and review engineering drawings, specifications, reports, and other technical documents.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant industry standards, regulations, and classification society requirements (e.g., ABS, DNV, USCG).
  • Engage with clients to comprehend project needs, offer technical guidance, and guarantee client satisfaction throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Collaborate closely with engineering, design, and production teams to ensure effective project execution and resolve any technical issues that may arise.
  • Stay informed about the latest advancements in marine engineering and integrate innovative solutions to improve project results.

Qualifications for the Marine Project Engineer Position

  • Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Naval Architecture & Maritime Engineering from an accredited institution.
  • Over 10 years of experience in Naval Architecture and Design.
  • At least 5 years of experience in marine project engineering, with a solid foundation in vessel design and construction.
  • Proficiency in engineering software (e.g., AutoCAD, ANSYS, Rhino) and a comprehensive understanding of marine engineering principles and practices.

Certifications:

  • Professional Engineer (P.E.) license is preferred.
