K2 Staffing, LLC is a leading provider of construction management services, specializing in general contracting and project coordination. We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Assistant Project Manager to join our team.

Job Summary

The Assistant Project Manager will assist the Project Manager in all aspects of the construction management process, including project planning, procurement, operations, and closeout. Key Responsibilities

  • Project Planning
    • Assist in the preparation and maintenance of project schedules and cost systems
    • Coordinate with subcontractors and suppliers to ensure timely delivery of materials and services
    • Plan and manage project logistics, including equipment delivery and inventory control
  • Project Operations
    • Assist in the coordination of project meetings and prepare meeting minutes
    • Monitor and track project progress, including tracking changes and back charges
    • Coordinate with subcontractors and suppliers to ensure compliance with quality control plans
  • Project Closeout
    • Assist in the completion of punch lists and removal of equipment and trailers
    • Coordinate with building authorities and regulatory agencies to obtain occupancy permits and submit required guarantees and warranties
  • Communication and Teamwork
    • Develop and maintain excellent relationships with owners, architects, consultants, subcontractors, and public entities
    • Communicate effectively with project stakeholders to ensure timely and efficient project delivery

Requirements and Qualifications

  • Education
    • Bachelor's degree in Architectural Engineering, Civil Engineering, Construction Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field
  • Experience
    • 3-5 years of construction-related experience in a similar capacity
  • Skills
    • Strong communication and leadership skills
    • Ability to work in a team environment
    • Timely presentation of problem issues and optimal solutions
