We are actively searching for enthusiastic On-site Assistant Project Managers to oversee our commercial construction projects. Ideal candidates will have experience managing multiple projects within the commercial construction sector. Key Responsibilities:
  • This role will require a blend of in-office responsibilities and on-site presence, with occasional travel.
  • Foster relationships and provide exceptional service to our clients.
  • Exhibit reliable management capabilities and effective problem-solving skills.
  • Collaborate with vendors, engineers, clients, and project managers to identify optimal project delivery methods.
  • Participate in pre-bid walkthroughs, and prepare and submit detailed estimates and proposals.
  • Manage Change Order Requests and Field Work Directives on-site.
  • Assess resource needs (manpower, equipment, materials) while adhering to budget constraints.
  • Coordinate construction operations and schedule phases to meet project deadlines.
  • Review project documentation for thoroughness and accuracy.
  • Prepare, distribute, and monitor project documentation through clear written and verbal communication.
  • Negotiate vendor pricing, procure equipment and materials, and oversee inventory management.
  • Build and maintain client relationships through meetings and trust-building efforts.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety standards (OSHA) and mentor others in creating injury-free work environments.
  • Establish, implement, and monitor the financial success of projects.
  • Communicate project progress to clients and internal stakeholders effectively.
  • Act as a liaison for clients, addressing concerns and providing solutions.

Qualifications:
  • 1 to 2 years of experience as an Assistant Project Manager or Superintendent in Commercial Construction is preferred.
  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field, or a combination of education and relevant experience.
  • Willingness to travel as necessary.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook.
  • Familiarity with Timberline or Viewpoint Vista Project Management software is preferred but not mandatory.
  • Experience with Bluebeam, Procore, PlanGrid, or other Project Management software.
  • Knowledge of On-Screen and Quickbid Takeoff is preferred but not mandatory.
