Logistics Operations Associate - TS/SCI Required

Your contributions will directly impact the efficiency and effectiveness of logistics within the organization.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Under direct supervision, responsible for analyzing, developing, and modifying procedures and system requirements to manage property book needs in alignment with DoD Enterprise infrastructure and IT objectives.
  • Educate both internal and external stakeholders on procedures, processes, and software applications. Conduct audits and develop corrective action plans as necessary.
  • Negotiate supplier agreements and service contracts as needed. Possess knowledge of capital procurement processes.
  • Lead initiatives focused on process improvement.
  • Coordinate workflow and material logistics to meet program and customer delivery timelines.
  • Execute logistics activities under the guidance of the organization's logistics manager, ensuring compliance with established protocols.
  • Maintain the organization's IT Systems hardware and software asset inventory within the prescribed Configuration Management Databases (CMDB). Ensure accuracy of at least 95%.
  • Utilize the CMDB in accordance with the organization's configuration and asset inventory management processes.
  • Document and manage the organization's IT System hardware baseline.
  • Oversee the maintenance of a comprehensive software configuration library for the organization's IT System.
  • Manage and maintain configuration documentation as directed by the logistics manager.
  • Provide weekly documentation to confirm the reconciliation of warehouse, procurement, logistics, and asset management activities.
  • Oversee the transportation of classified and unclassified IT equipment and materials necessary to support operational requirements.
  • Ensure compliance with International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) for the shipment of controlled materials.
  • Stay informed and manage customs issues related to global transportation of IT materials.

Qualifications for Success:

  • Education: Associate's Degree with 2 years of experience, or Bachelor's Degree with 1 year of experience.
  • Required Skillset:
    • Knowledge and experience with GCSS (Global Combat Support System).
  • Security Clearance Level: TS/SCI
  • Required Certification(s):
    • DoD M IAT Level II Computing Environment (CE) Certification is required prior to contract support.
  • US Citizenship: Required
  • Additional:
    • Candidates must be willing and able to attain a CI Polygraph for certain positions.
    • Position may require physical activities such as lifting objects and reaching/bending.
