Logistics Operations Associate - TS/SCI Required

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Under direct supervision, responsible for reviewing, developing, modifying, and testing procedures and systems requirements to manage property book requirements directly supporting DoD Enterprise infrastructure and IT goals.
  • Provide training to internal and external customers regarding procedures, processes, and software applications. Conduct internal audits and develop/review corrective action plans.
  • Negotiate supplier agreements and service contracts as required. Knowledge of capital procurement processes is essential.
  • Lead process improvement teams in various logistics activities.
  • Coordinate workflow and material movement to meet program and customer delivery requirements.
  • Execute logistics activities under the guidance of the organization's logistics manager.
  • Maintain the organization's IT Systems hardware and software asset inventory in the prescribed Configuration Management Databases (CMDB).
  • Employ the CMDB in accordance with the organization's configuration and asset inventory management business processes.
  • Document, manage, and maintain the organization's IT System hardware baseline.
  • Manage and maintain a complete software configuration library for the organization's IT System.
  • Ensure compliance with all appropriate International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) for the shipment of controlled materials.
  • Be informed of and manage customs issues for worldwide transportation of IT materials.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Education: Associate's Degree with 2 years of experience, or Bachelor's Degree with 1 year of experience.
  • Required Skillset:
    • Knowledge/experience with GCSS (Global Combat Support System).
  • Security Clearance Level: TS/SCI.
  • Required Certification(s):
    • DoD M IAT Level II Computing Environment (CE) Certification as determined by the Program Manager is required prior to support on contract.
  • US Citizenship: Required.
  • Additional:
    • Candidates must be willing and able to attain a CI Polygraph for certain positions.
    • Position may require lifting objects and other moderately strenuous activities.
