Business Development Manager for Ethanol and Biofuel Sales

Job Responsibilities
- Develop and execute strategic plans to drive sales growth and revenue expansion
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities, including partnerships and joint ventures
- BUILD and maintain strong relationships with existing customers, understanding their needs and providing tailored solutions
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, product development, and operations, to ensure alignment and effective execution of sales strategies
- Analyze market trends, customer needs, and competitor activity to inform sales strategies and improve performance
- Manage sales pipelines, forecasting, and reporting to ensure accurate tracking of sales progress and identification of areas for improvement
Requirements
To be considered for this role, you should have:
- A minimum of 10 years of experience in sales, business development, or a related field, preferably in the ethanol and biofuel industry
- Proven track record of driving sales growth, revenue expansion, and business development
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with customers, partners, and internal stakeholders
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex data and identify opportunities for improvement
- Familiarity with CRM software and other sales tools, with the ability to leverage technology to drive sales success
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong focus on collaboration and customer satisfaction
Compensation
The salary for this position is $110,000 - $145,000 per year, plus bonuses based on individual and company performance.
Location
This role is based in the central United States, with occasional travel required to meet with customers, partners, and attend industry events.
