Job Description:

At The Avers Agency, we are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Regional Business Development Specialist to join our team in Madison. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, nurturing existing relationships, and driving sales growth across the Greater Madison Area.

We estimate the annual salary for this position to be around $70,000 - $90,000 based on industry standards and local market conditions.

Main Responsibilities:

• Conduct thorough needs assessments to understand client requirements and present tailored solutions

• Develop and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers in client organizations

• Utilize our proven system to create a self-sustaining referral stream for life

• Stay organized and up-to-date on important client information to ensure ongoing relationship development

• Collaborate with the sales team to enhance sales and communication skills

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in direct sales, outside sales, or business-to-business sales is preferred but not required

• Ability to work independently and manage your own time effectively

• Active insurance license or willingness and ability to obtain upon hire

• Strong organizational, detail-oriented, and deadline-management skills
