Water Treatment Sales Consultant

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and nurture existing client relationships while actively pursuing new business opportunities through effective planning and organization of daily activities.
  • Execute comprehensive sales strategies within the designated region, including lead generation, outreach, and scheduling appointments.
  • Promote and sell maintenance services to both new and established customers of Chem-Aqua.
  • Conduct hands-on account servicing, which encompasses chemical testing, calibration, and repair of chemical feed systems, along with necessary system inspections.
  • Organize and document service and sales interactions, including daily, weekly, and monthly reporting.
  • Identify and assess emerging business needs, crafting tailored solutions to meet customer requirements.

Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma required; a College Degree is preferred.
  • Experience in water treatment, environmental health, or secondary disinfection is advantageous but not mandatory.
  • A minimum of 3-5 years of successful sales experience is essential.
  • Proven leadership, organizational, and management capabilities.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with experience collaborating across multiple locations.
  • Strong mechanical skills and aptitude.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • Must be self-motivated and proactive.
  • Ability to perform physical tasks in environments involving HVAC, cooling towers, or boiler systems, with exposure to various elements.
  • Must maintain good physical condition, as the role requires frequent movement to and from job sites.
  • A valid driver's license with a satisfactory driving record is required.
  • Flexibility in scheduling is necessary, including potential weekend work based on client needs.
  • Physical activities may include climbing ladders (up to 30 feet) while carrying equipment, adhering to safety regulations.
  • Ability to wear necessary protective equipment as required.
