The Water Treatment Sales Consultant will play a crucial role in identifying, nurturing, and managing both existing and prospective accounts within the designated market area. This position involves collaborating closely with clients to deliver customized water treatment solutions that meet their unique requirements. This role is remote.

Key Responsibilities:

Manage current accounts, secure orders, and establish new client relationships by organizing daily schedules to engage with existing and potential sales outlets. Execute all sales activities within the assigned territory, including lead generation, cold calling, and setting appointments. Promote and sell maintenance services to both new and existing Chem-Aqua clients. Provide hands-on account servicing, which may include chemical testing, calibration, and repair of chemical feed equipment, as well as conducting visual inspections of systems as needed. Schedule and conduct service and sales calls, including regular reporting on activities. Identify emerging business needs and opportunities, and develop tailored solutions for our clients.

Qualifications:

High School Diploma required; College Degree preferred. Experience in water treatment, hygiene, environmental health and safety, or secondary disinfection is advantageous but not mandatory. A minimum of 3-5 years of sales experience with a proven track record of success. Strong leadership, organizational, and management skills. Excellent communication abilities, both written and verbal, with experience collaborating across multiple locations. Solid mechanical aptitude. Proficient in MS Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook). Must be highly motivated and self-driven. Ability to perform physical tasks in environments involving HVAC, cooling towers, or boiler equipment, which may expose you to chemicals, noise, and varying temperatures. Must possess good physical stamina, as the role requires frequent movement to and from work sites. Valid driver's license and a satisfactory motor vehicle record. Flexibility to work a varied schedule, including some weekends as necessary for account servicing. Required activities may include climbing stairs and ladders (10-30 feet high) while carrying chemical drums weighing up to 50 pounds, adhering to OSHA regulations. Must be able to wear protective equipment for face, ears, and hands. Travel up to 35% is required.

The base salary range for this position is $65,000 - $75,000, excluding bonuses and commissions. Actual salaries may vary based on factors such as experience, education, location, and performance. Please note that this salary range is just one aspect of the Total Rewards package and does not include commissions, which can significantly enhance total compensation. Anticipated first-year earnings range from $65,000 to $90,000.
