Role Responsibilities:
- Manage and nurture existing client relationships while actively pursuing new business opportunities.
- Conduct thorough assessments of client needs to develop customized water treatment programs.
- Engage in proactive sales activities including lead generation, cold outreach, and scheduling appointments.
- Perform on-site services such as chemical testing, equipment calibration, and system inspections to ensure optimal performance.
- Maintain detailed records of service and sales activities, providing regular updates and reports.
- Identify emerging market trends and client requirements to propose innovative solutions.
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma required; a college degree is preferred.
- Prior experience in water treatment or related fields is advantageous but not mandatory.
- A minimum of 3-5 years of proven sales experience with a successful track record.
- Strong leadership and organizational skills are essential.
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities, with experience collaborating across diverse teams.
- Mechanical aptitude and proficiency in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) are required.
- Must possess a high level of motivation and self-direction.
- Ability to perform physical tasks in various environmental conditions, including exposure to chemicals and varying temperatures.
- Valid driver's license and a clean driving record are mandatory.
- Flexibility to work a varied schedule, including weekends as needed.
- Physical capabilities to navigate ladders and carry equipment as required.
- Willingness to wear necessary protective gear during service activities.
Compensation:
The base salary for this position ranges from $65,000 to $75,000, exclusive of bonuses and commissions. Actual compensation may vary based on factors such as experience, education, and performance. The expected first-year earnings could range from $65,000 to $90,000, reflecting the potential for commission-based income.
