About the Role

We're seeking a seasoned Director of Business Development to lead our new business efforts at Movers+Shakers. As a key member of our team, you'll be responsible for driving growth and revenue through strategic partnerships and client relationships.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute a comprehensive new business strategy to drive revenue growth and expand our client base.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers at top brands and agencies.
  • Collaborate with our marketing team to develop targeted campaigns and content that resonate with our target audience.
  • Manage our inbound pipeline, including responding to inquiries and scheduling meetings with interested clients.
  • Develop and implement an outbound process to proactively reach out to potential clients and build relationships with key decision-makers.
  • Partner with our account teams to grow existing client relationships and increase revenue.
  • Track and report on business development metrics, including pipeline, conversion rates, and revenue growth.
Requirements
  • 10+ years of marketing experience, including 5+ years in social strategy.
  • Extensive experience in agency new business and social media marketing.
  • Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire cross-functional teams.
  • Extensive client-facing experience, along with strong presentation skills.
  • Strategic mindset, with the ability to think creatively and identify new opportunities for revenue growth.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to use data to make informed decisions.
  • Experience working with CRM tools such as Salesforce.
