About the Role

The Client Services Manager plays a critical role in supporting business development efforts, connecting the agency's activities to clients and driving project success.

Key Responsibilities
  • Tactical Management: Demonstrates sound judgment and manages workflow to ensure projects are on track and completed accurately.
  • Client Management: Applies understanding of client's business needs and establishes relationships with clients to provide timely status and information.
  • Product Knowledge: Develops understanding of product category and competitors, as well as key market trends.
  • Business Development: Identifies opportunities to grow client business and billings, and enlists support of senior team/management to follow up on these opportunities.
  • Leadership & Agency Advocacy: Communicates agency's point of view to clients with clarity regarding the value of process strategically and tactically.
Key Deliverables
  • Develops and maintains account status reports and collaborates with project managers on creation and maintenance of project timelines.
  • Contributes to project briefs (background, job specs, requirements).
  • Updates client and team on activity schedules and next steps.
  • Owns deck for meetings (and associated technology).
  • Reviews all materials for accuracy and completion prior to client delivery, presentation, or final production.
  • Submits requests for direct cost estimates; obtains client approval of all cost estimates.
  • Maintains organized job files of project materials.
  • Assists in estimating agency fees for client proposals.
  • Assists in preparation of job budgets, obtaining internal budget approvals, and allocating hours to team members.
  • Maintains accurate records of client expenditures, time utilization, and billing information.
  • Assists with managing client's budget tracker(s) and with preparation of realistic billing forecasts.
  • Helps move work effectively through the shop in order to meet agency profitability goals.
  • Identifies and brings management's attention to bottlenecks or other issues that may jeopardize profitability by project.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree with a concentration in business, marketing, or communications.
  • At least one year of experience as an Assistant Account Executive or Account Executive within a business development or client services role.
  • Experience with direct client contact.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Hands-on experience with clients' online submission systems for business reviews.
  • Business development or industry experience.
  • Experience in writing SOWs and project briefs.
Compensation

Precision is required by law in some states or cities to include a reasonable estimate of the compensation range for this role.

The disclosed range estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled.

At Precision, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case.

This role is also eligible for a discretionary annual bonus, health insurance, retirement savings benefits, life insurance and disability benefits, parental leave, and paid time off for sick leave and vacation, among other benefits.

Reasonable estimate of the current range: $60,000 - $75,000 USD
