Position Overview:
The Department of Neurosurgery at the Cleveland Clinic is in search of a dedicated neurosurgeon to oversee a team of multidisciplinary professionals across our regional neurosurgical practices in Northeast Ohio.

Role Responsibilities:
The Vice-Chair will directly report to the Chair, concentrating on expanding regional neurosurgical services and ensuring program excellence through a patient-centered, disease-specific methodology in neurological care.

Candidate Profile:
The ideal candidate will exhibit proven clinical proficiency, a history of effective collaboration with interdisciplinary teams, and a commitment to quality and continuous improvement initiatives. A forward-thinking and cooperative leadership style is highly desirable.

Practice Location:
The primary practice setting will be at the Cleveland Clinic Neurological Institute at Hillcrest Hospital, which is recognized as a Level II Trauma Center.

Integrated Care Model:
This role will leverage our unique, fully integrated care model, enabling continuous measurement of quality and outcomes, which enhances our research capabilities and ultimately benefits future patients.

Qualifications:
The successful applicant must be a board-certified neurosurgeon with a focus on spine, trauma, and general neurosurgery. The newly appointed neurosurgeon will engage in general neurosurgery and trauma call, with an average call frequency of 1:6, supported by experienced Advanced Practice Providers and a resident team.

Additional Duties:
Responsibilities will also encompass clinical care, educational roles, and research activities.
