Job Summary

Maintain the day-to-day operations of a department and its leadership team. This role requires daily onsite presence at the Memorial Hermann Tower, located at 929 Gessner.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with management to complete necessary projects and work independently on delegated tasks.
  • Ensure an organized, clean, and tidy workspace.
  • Maintain and re-stock office supplies as needed.
  • Monitor and use office equipment and materials.
  • Answer phones, direct calls, take and deliver messages as needed.
  • Help to immediately resolve and mediate customer complaints.
  • Arrange and schedule meetings, appointments, and events for management.
  • Take meeting notes and transcribe into email, document, or spreadsheet form as needed.
  • Review invoices and check for relevancy and accuracy.
  • Review cost center statements and help manage the department budget.
Requirements
  • Three or more years of experience in an administrative office setting.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills and excellent customer service skills.
  • Highly proficient in Microsoft Office suite, including Workday, EPSI, ReportSafe, and Vizio.
  • Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information with the highest degree of integrity, confidentiality, and professionalism.
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently with minimum supervision using self-initiative and discretion.
  • Basic financial analysis understanding.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work as part of a team environment.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and organizational and time-management skills.
