We are seeking a highly skilled Customer Service Representative to join our team at Glanbia plc. As a key member of our sales department, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and support to our clients.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare and manage sales department reports and order scheduling responsibilities.
  • Organize and ensure accurate customer orders in our system.
  • Consistently meet and exceed customer expectations, both internal and external.
  • Manage daily cheese pricing and accuracy of invoices for relevant accounts.
  • Coordinate with logistics, warehouse, and production teams on shipment schedules, changes, and delays.
  • Anticipate customer needs and focus on proactive rather than reactive customer service.
  • Grow and strengthen customer relationships through excellent customer service.
  • Support communication with customers and other Glanbia business units.

Requirements

  • Associate's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Minimum three years related experience.
  • Ability to read and interpret documents, write routine reports, and speak effectively before groups.
  • Ability to calculate figures, apply basic algebra and geometry, and provide leadership to others.
  • Proficient personal computer skills, including electronic mail, record keeping, and database activity.

Working Conditions

  • Sedentary physical activity performing non-strenuous daily activities of a primarily administrative nature.
  • Ability to lift and carry items weighing up to 25 pounds.
  • Manual dexterity sufficient to reach/handle items and work with fingers.
