Meat Department Leader

Rosauers Supermarkets is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Meat Manager to lead our meat department team. As a key member of our store team, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest levels of quality, efficiency, and customer satisfaction in our meat department.
Key Responsibilities- Department Leadership: Lead and manage the day-to-day operations of the meat department, including guiding and training meat department staff to provide impeccable service.
- Team Development: Motivate and inspire meat department employees, helping to facilitate personal growth and development.
- Productivity and Quality: Ensure high levels of productivity are met, fostering a productive work environment and upholding the highest standards of sanitation, cleanliness, and safety in meat preparation and storage areas.
- Customer Engagement: Engage with customers, provide recommendations, and ensure their experience is second to none.
- Strategic Planning: Set strategic long and short-term departmental goals and evaluate outcomes, staying updated with the latest meat trends, preparation techniques, and customer preferences.
- At least 18 years of age or older.
- Complete a pre-employment background check.
- Minimum of one-year previous experience as a Meat Cutter.
- Must be a Journeyman Meat Cutter.
- Ability to lift, carry and push 50 pounds.
- Competitive hourly rate of $23.07.
