  • Motivate and inspire meat department employees, helping to facilitate personal growth and development.
  • Ensure high levels of productivity are met, fostering a productive work environment that drives results.
  • Communicate job expectations to all meat department employees, ensuring clear understanding and alignment.
  • Set strategic long and short-term departmental goals, evaluating outcomes and making data-driven decisions.
  • Aid in the selection, preparation, and display of premium cuts, ensuring top-notch quality and freshness that meets customer expectations.
  • Engage with customers, provide recommendations, and ensure their experience is second to none, driving customer loyalty and retention.
  • Uphold the highest standards of sanitation, cleanliness, and safety in meat preparation and storage areas, adhering to company policies and food industry regulations.
  • Stay updated with the latest meat trends, preparation techniques, and customer preferences, applying knowledge to drive business growth and improvement.
  • Perform other duties as required to ensure the overall success of our company.

Requirements:

  • You must be at least 18 years of age or older.
  • Complete a pre-employment background check.
  • Minimum of one-year previous experience as a Meat Cutter.
  • Must be a Journeyman Meat Cutter.

Physical Requirements:

  • Must be able to lift, carry and push 50 pounds.
