Shift Details: Weekend Shift, Friday - Sunday, 9:00am - 9:00pm

As a Quality Assurance Coordinator, your responsibilities will include conducting internal evaluations of the production process and associated departments, as well as ensuring adherence to ISO policies and procedures outlined in our quality management system.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Follow directives from Cell Captains and Supervisors
  • Conduct random, in-process audits as assigned by the Quality Manager/Supervisor; assist in addressing quality-related issues
  • Examine finished goods, in-process items, incoming materials, components, assemblies, and test products for compliance with company standards; ensure corrective actions are taken for non-conforming lots
  • Take ownership of the audited processes and liaise with Supervisors, Managers, Leads, and Cell Captains to resolve quality discrepancies
  • Investigate, resolve, and communicate work-related issues to Supervisors and support colleagues in problem-solving
  • Record audit findings in the quality database system
  • Train and clarify process procedures/work instructions/quality bulletins with the audited departments and provide feedback on updates
  • Engage in special projects, such as auditing, training other departments, or inspections; prepare reports for management on findings

Qualifications for Success at GXO:

To be considered, you will need:

  • Experience in interpreting data and graphs
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office
  • Mathematical skills to perform basic calculations
  • Ability to read and understand simple instructions and correspondence

Preferred Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • At least 6 months of relevant experience
  • Strong communication skills for presenting information in various settings

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to lift up to 25 lbs. frequently and up to 50 lbs. occasionally
  • Ability to work in varying temperature environments
