Position Overview:

We are in search of a highly skilled and motivated Senior Financial Analyst to join our Expense Recovery team. This role is pivotal in enhancing our analytical capabilities and fostering collaboration across various departments.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive financial analyses and provide recommendations related to expense forecasting and recovery for regulatory matters.
  • Examine spending patterns and cost classifications to assess their impact on financial outcomes and future service costs.
  • Evaluate third-party testimonies, regulatory submissions, and legal documents; assist in strategizing responses and crafting new proposals.
  • Act as a witness or subject matter expert on complex cost recovery topics, preparing compelling testimonies and supporting documentation.
  • Deliver impactful analyses to facilitate critical initiatives, including negotiations and external inquiries.
  • Establish and manage financial control documents and regulatory adjustments to support filings and revenue calculations.
  • Implement and analyze expense regulatory values in alignment with regulatory decisions.
  • Provide analytical assistance for essential regulatory compliance submissions.
  • Design and deliver training sessions for business partners.
  • Create effective presentation materials to inform leadership and highlight significant issues.
  • Document processes, guidelines, and standards while driving continuous improvement initiatives in collaboration with peers.

Qualifications:

The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently. Excellent verbal and written communication skills are essential, particularly in presenting information clearly and persuasively.
