Position Overview:
We are looking for a highly driven and capable Senior Analyst to join our Expense Recovery group.

This role presents an excellent opportunity to showcase your analytical expertise in a collaborative environment where your contributions will be recognized.

The Senior Analyst should possess strong analytical abilities, attention to detail, and self-motivation.

Exceptional oral and written communication skills are essential, including the capacity to present information clearly and persuasively.

The candidate will be responsible for developing critical analyses, validating forecast assumptions and recorded expenses, contributing to cost recovery proposals, and engaging in process improvement initiatives.


Key Responsibilities:
1. Develop financial analytics and recommendations regarding expense forecasts and recovery for regulatory processes through collaboration with various functional areas.
2. Analyze spending patterns and cost categories to comprehend how different costs and trends influence financial outcomes and future service costs.
3. Review and assess third-party testimonies, regulatory proposals, pleadings, agreements, and decisions; assist in formulating strategies to counter testimony, design new proposals, and conduct analyses for regulatory submissions.
4. Act as a witness, witness assistant, or subject matter expert for moderately complex cost recovery matters, including crafting compelling testimonies, workpapers, and discovery responses.
5. Produce impactful analyses to support critical initiatives such as settlement negotiations, workshops, and external inquiries.
6. Create and manage financial control files and regulatory adjustments that underpin regulatory filings and revenue requirement calculations.
7. Implement, analyze, and develop the General Rate Case expense regulatory values in line with regulatory decisions.
8. Provide analytical support for key regulatory compliance filings.
9. Develop and deliver training to business partners.
10. Create effective presentation materials for leadership to facilitate decision-making or highlight key issues.
11. Develop and document processes, guidelines, standards, and models. Drive continuous improvement projects in collaboration with peers to enhance process efficiencies and controls.
