Automotive Salesperson Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated and self-starting Automotive Salesperson to join our team. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and driving sales growth.

Responsibilities:
  • Educate and sell company products and services to new and existing customers.
  • Meet or exceed sales targets by deadline.
  • Close and follow up on sales transactions.
  • Investigate and resolve customer issues and complaints.
  • Build and maintain relationships with new and existing clients.
Qualifications:
  • Previous experience in sales, customer service, or related fields.
  • Excellent presentation and negotiation skills.
  • Confident, articulate, and professional speaking abilities.
  • Deadline and detail-oriented.
  • Ability to build rapport with clients.

Job-Specific Requirements:
  1. Meet minimum production quotas and CSI levels.
  2. Make daily phone contacts, emails, and text messages.
  3. Enter contacts into the CRM system with notes.
  4. Obtain necessary training for factory qualifications.
  5. Take test-drives with customers according to management guidelines.
  6. Present offers to management and show concern for customer needs.
  7. Follow dealership processes and procedures to ensure excellent customer service.
  8. Arrange first service appointments and contact customers before and after.
  9. Acquire and maintain total product knowledge.
Professional Obligations:
  1. Accurate timekeeping, including clocking in and out daily.
  2. Maintain excellent CSI scores.
  3. Attend necessary manufacturer's training and become certified.
  4. Maintain a professional appearance.
  5. Attend sales meetings.
