Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Clerk to join our team at the Coast Guard Community Services Command. As a key member of our administrative staff, you will provide critical support to our operations and ensure the smooth functioning of our office.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform a variety of administrative and clerical tasks, including receiving and reviewing incoming documents, setting up and maintaining office files, and responding to customer inquiries.
  • Provide support to other administrative staff, including preparing recurring and special reports as requested.
  • May perform complex word processing tasks, including preparing documents and reports.
  • Perform related duties as assigned.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.
  • One year of administrative clerical experience, which involves the use of computers and other office equipment.
  • Ability to carry and lift packages and sacks, trays, and tubs of mail up to 40 pounds for short distances.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Associate's degree.
  • Previous mailroom experience.
