IT Service Desk Analyst Opportunity

A fantastic opportunity has arisen to join YHA's IT & Business Systems Team as an IT Service Desk Analyst.

This role requires flexibility to attend National Office in Matlock, although we offer a hybrid working arrangement. You will provide the first line of support for users of YHA's IT and Business Systems, logging issues and requests for assistance and providing technical support and advice to a range of internal and external customers.

You will provide great customer service, resolving issues or escalating them to colleagues for completion. This role is a 12-month fixed-term contract, with a salary of £23,700 - £27,500 per annum (37.5 hours per week).

Requirements
  • Qualified to A Level/BTEC equivalent in Computing or IT related subject, or experience working in an IT Service Desk role
  • Experience of working in a customer service role preferred
  • Knowledge of Windows Server and Desktop operating systems
  • Experience working with Microsoft Exchange, Active Directory or Office 365
  • Experience providing remote desktop support
  • Excellent working knowledge of desktop applications including the Microsoft Office suite
  • Experience of using call logging software
  • Experience of raising and monitoring calls with third party suppliers would be advantageous
  • Excellent listening, verbal and written communication skills are essential
  • Ability to communicate technical issues and their resolution with a non-technical audience
  • Ability to work effectively and to prioritise own workload
  • Good team player, willing and keen to learn
