Role Overview:
We are seeking a Senior Technical Project Manager to play a crucial role in the development and operation of our New Glenn spacecraft, designed for heavy-lift missions to various orbits.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Facilitate the development and operational processes of New Glenn, ensuring its capability to transport both personnel and cargo.
  • Leverage your technical knowledge and leadership abilities to improve the safety protocols associated with human spaceflight.
  • Manage the processes related to risk, issues, and opportunities, collaborating closely with engineering and program management teams to identify and mitigate potential risks.
  • Oversee the risk management database, lead risk review sessions, and mentor team members in effective risk management practices.
  • Enhance metrics and reporting systems to deliver valuable insights into the risk management framework.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in engineering or a related discipline.
  • Minimum of 8 years of experience in Project Management.
  • Demonstrated ability to devise and execute strategies for effective risk mitigation.
  • Experience with the aerospace product lifecycle and risk management is advantageous.
  • Exceptional communication, organizational, and analytical capabilities.
  • Ability to thrive in a dynamic environment and foster strong professional relationships.
  • Commitment to continuous improvement and quality assurance.
  • Eligibility to work in the U.S. is required.

Preferred Qualifications:
Familiarity with tools such as Jira, Confluence, and Tableau.
At least 3 years of direct experience in Risk Management.
Background in aerospace vehicles or engines.
Knowledge of Primavera (P6), Doors Next Gen, CREO, Windchill, and Microsoft Office Suite.
