Position Overview:
Milestone Technologies is in search of a seasoned Senior Project Manager to spearhead the deployment of an innovative space planning system aimed at enhancing resource allocation and utilization throughout the organization.

Location:
Seattle, WA.

Contract Duration:
12 months.

Compensation:
$80/hr.

Project Summary:

The Senior Project Manager will oversee the complete project lifecycle, from the initial planning phase to successful implementation and post-deployment support. This role is crucial in driving the transformation process and ensuring the project's overall success.


Essential Qualifications:
  • Minimum of 8 years of project management experience, specifically in leading enterprise software system implementation projects for SaaS solutions.
  • Proven track record in managing extensive software implementations, ideally within the realms of space planning or facilities management.
  • Expertise in managing project scope, timelines, budgets, risks, and issues associated with new enterprise systems.
  • Ability to coordinate complex technical programs linked to the implementation of new enterprise systems.
  • Strong skills in aligning technical system delivery with operational change management activities.
  • Exceptional communication, leadership, analytical, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Experience in presenting intricate information to varied audiences.
  • Self-motivated with a strong initiative.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Previous consulting experience.
  • Familiarity with space management systems.
  • Experience within educational institutions or facilities management sectors.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and manage the delivery and implementation of a new space management system.
  • Oversee the planning and execution of the implementation process, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives.
  • Develop detailed project plans that include timelines, resource allocation, and risk management strategies.
  • Coordinate and manage cross-functional teams, promoting effective communication and collaboration among all stakeholders.
  • Plan and supervise the activities of technical resources involved in system design, configuration, interface development, unit testing, and integrated testing.
  • Collaborate closely with the operations space management team to facilitate the enterprise-wide implementation of the new system, addressing operational needs throughout the process.
  • Work with stakeholders to define and implement policies, procedures, and workflows that enhance effective space management practices, ensuring alignment with strategic goals.
  • Monitor project progress and performance, proactively identifying and resolving any issues or challenges.
  • Ensure timely delivery of the project within scope and budget.
  • Provide post-implementation support and facilitate a smooth transition of the new system into daily operations.
  • Conduct regular project reviews and present comprehensive status reports to senior management and key stakeholders.
  • Manage the migration of facility data, conduct acceptance testing, and ensure a successful go-live process, including comprehensive training for end-users.

Education:
Bachelor's Degree.

Compensation Details:
The estimated pay for this position is $80/hr. and is classified as an Exempt role.
