Job Summary

The University of New Mexico is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Medical Education Program Assistant to support the day-to-day operations of the psychology training program. The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating seminars, meetings, and training initiatives, as well as maintaining documentation and tracking complex schedules.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate and schedule seminars, meetings, and training initiatives for psychology fellowship and internship trainees
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation and tracking systems
  • Provide administrative support to the Director of Psychology Training and other department staff
  • Develop and implement promotional materials and reports
  • Collaborate with internal and external constituents, including governing bodies, faculty, and trainees
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; 3 years of experience in program coordination or a related field preferred
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment
  • Proficiency in MS Office applications and experience with purchasing and promotional materials
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with program coordination, planning, and scheduling techniques
  • Knowledge of university settings and experience working with diverse ethnic groups and people with disabilities
  • Spanish language proficiency
