Work Schedule:
During peak production periods, you will work 7 days a week; outside of these times, a standard 5-day work week will apply.


Relocation Assistance:
This role qualifies for company-assisted relocation.


Position Overview:
As a Facilities Maintenance Supervisor, you will oversee and guide the Agricultural Operations team responsible for the upkeep and repair of production machinery, equipment, and facilities. You will ensure the successful execution of all maintenance tasks, including routine, emergency, and preventative maintenance.

Your responsibilities will include assigning work orders to maintenance personnel, monitoring or planning work performed by external contractors, and ensuring compliance with all safety and quality protocols.


Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum of 3 years of supervisory experience in maintenance within a manufacturing environment

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or vocational training in maintenance mechanics or a related field

Key Responsibilities:

  • Establish schedules to ensure adequate production coverage and maintain preventative and scheduled maintenance on equipment.
  • Optimize existing PM Software Tools or propose new solutions that align with our strategy for cost-effectiveness, reliability, and ease of integration.
  • Review maintenance documentation and assign work orders to minimize production downtime.
  • Set standards for maintenance personnel involvement to reduce downtime during production.
  • Assess the need for subcontractors and schedule their services accordingly.
  • Track and report on maintenance KPIs, ensuring adherence to budgetary constraints and operational standards.
  • Ensure compliance with food safety and quality standards.
  • Utilize appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) as required.

Additional Responsibilities:

  • Communicate with the production team to keep them informed of scheduled maintenance activities.
  • Maintain a cost-effective inventory.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Supervisory Duties:
You will manage the activities of the maintenance staff in accordance with company policies and legal regulations. This includes responsibilities such as interviewing, hiring, training employees, and overseeing their performance.


Skills and Abilities:

  • Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and maintain a positive and professional demeanor.
  • Strong leadership, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and possess advanced mathematical skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.

Working Conditions:
This role is performed in a production environment and may require long hours and on-call status. You will be exposed to various hazards, including high-pressure steam and high voltage.
