Job Description:

About the Role:

The Maintenance Supervisor position at the Dixon facility is essential in supporting operational projects, driving and endorsing key initiatives to enhance performance throughout the plant. You will add value to this role by executing various functions including, but not limited to:
  • Enforcing all company policies and plant regulations, including problem-solving, development & implementation of standard operating procedures while maintaining a collaborative relationship with the union in accordance with the collective bargaining agreement.
  • Proposing measures to enhance production techniques, equipment efficiency, product quality, and workplace safety.
  • Addressing personnel issues by analyzing data, investigating concerns, identifying solutions, and recommending actions, which may include administering discipline, corrective measures, and coaching as necessary.
  • Facilitating maintenance through troubleshooting challenges, developing daily schedules, allocating labor, and making adjustments as needed based on available resources.
Important Details: This is a full-time on-site role addressing plant maintenance requirements, with potential schedule flexibility, although the role primarily operates on the 3rd shift.

About You:

You will thrive in this role if you possess:
  • Strong knowledge of SAP or other maintenance tracking systems.
  • Excellent communication skills across all levels of management.
  • Prior experience in maintenance within a manufacturing setting - food manufacturing experience is advantageous; familiarity with aseptic processing is a plus.
  • Previous supervisory experience, particularly in a manufacturing environment.
