About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Mechanic to join our team at Jones Lang LaSalle IP, Inc. as an Electrical and Mechanical Systems Specialist. As a key member of our facilities maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our electrical and mechanical systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on electrical and mechanical systems, including HVAC, plumbing, and electrical systems.
  • Respond to emergency situations and perform repairs as needed.
  • Conduct regular inspections of equipment and systems to identify potential issues and prevent downtime.
  • Collaborate with other team members to ensure seamless operation of facilities.
  • Maintain accurate records of work performed and equipment maintenance.
Requirements
  • Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in facilities maintenance, preferably in an industrial or commercial setting.
  • Strong knowledge of electrical and mechanical systems, including HVAC, plumbing, and electrical systems.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Knowledge of CMMS software and experience with maintenance management systems.
  • HVAC, plumbing, or electrical certification.
Work Environment

This is a full-time position working in a warehouse/distribution center with office space. The ideal candidate will be able to work independently and as part of a team, with flexibility to work overtime and be on-call as needed.
