About the Role:

The Maintenance Supervisor role at TreeHouse Foods supports operations projects, driving and supporting key initiatives to improve performance throughout the plant. You'll add value to this role by performing various functions including, but not limited to:

  • Enforcing Company Policies and Plant Rules: Enforce all company policies and plant rules, including problem-solving, development, and implementation of standard operating procedures while maintaining a working relationship with the union by following the terms of the collective bargaining agreement.
  • Improving Production Methods and Equipment Performance: Recommend measures to improve production methods, equipment performance, and quality of product and safety environment in the workplace.
  • Resolving Personnel Problems: Resolve personnel problems by analyzing data, investigating issues, identifying solutions, and recommending action, which includes administering discipline, corrective action, and coaching as needed.
  • Supporting Maintenance: Support maintenance through troubleshooting issues, development of daily schedules, allocating labor, and adjusting as needed based on resources.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage maintenance teams to ensure efficient and effective maintenance operations.
  • Develop and implement maintenance strategies to improve equipment performance and reduce downtime.
  • Collaborate with production teams to identify and resolve production-related issues.
  • Manage and maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including work orders, inventory, and equipment performance.

Requirements:

  • Strong Knowledge of Maintenance Tracking Systems: Strong knowledge of SAP or other maintenance tracking systems.
  • Effective Communication Skills: Strong communication skills at all levels of management.
  • Previous Maintenance Experience: Previous experience in maintenance in a manufacturing facility, preferably in food manufacturing.
  • Supervisory Experience: Previous supervisory experience, especially in a manufacturing environment.
