- Engage with industry committees and working groups to stay abreast of the latest security trends.
- Lead the development of security architectures and testing procedures to fortify avionics systems.
- Create threat models to identify potential vulnerabilities in embedded devices and cloud-based applications.
- Oversee the execution of penetration tests and vulnerability assessments to enhance security measures.
- Mentor and guide a team of security engineers, promoting professional development and technical expertise.
The ideal candidate will possess a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related technical field, complemented by extensive experience in cybersecurity, ideally within the aviation sector. A minimum of 10 years of relevant experience is required, with strong proficiency in industry security tools and practices.
Skills and Competencies:- In-depth knowledge of systems architecture and cybersecurity principles.
- Experience with risk analysis, security audits, and the development of security standards.
- Familiarity with TCP/IP, Linux, and network security protocols.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to assess data and derive actionable insights.
- Excellent communication skills, capable of conveying complex information clearly.
This is a full-time position that may require occasional travel. The work environment is characterized by moderate noise levels typical of an office setting.
