Role Summary

The Equipment Operations Supervisor plays a crucial role in managing the daily functions of our Warehouse Department, which includes a variety of essential equipment such as tables, chairs, and cooking supplies. This supervisory position emphasizes teamwork and is responsible for guiding staff to ensure adherence to schedules and high-quality performance. This role is structured as a full-time position with a standard 40-hour workweek.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee daily operations within the Warehouse Department.
  • Provide training for new team members on departmental protocols.
  • Conduct performance evaluations and manage employee development.
  • Prepare and pack items necessary for various events.
  • Coordinate employee breaks and lunch schedules.
  • Assist in developing weekly work schedules for staff.
  • Delegate tasks to team members effectively.
  • Ensure timely fulfillment of daily orders.
  • Collaborate with management and sales teams to address last-minute requests.
  • Identify and resolve departmental challenges as they arise.
  • Work alongside other managers to enhance operational efficiency.
  • Maintain a productive workforce to meet daily objectives.
  • Ensure the department is well-maintained and organized.
  • Engage professionally with clients and the public during events.
  • Foster respectful interactions within a diverse team environment.
  • Adhere to safety protocols while performing assigned tasks.
  • Other responsibilities as needed.

Qualifications

  • Experience operating forklifts is essential.
  • Must be able to comply with safety regulations and pass necessary screenings.
  • Reliable attendance and punctuality are required.
  • Willingness to perform assigned tasks safely and respectfully.
  • Ability to work extended hours when necessary.
  • Availability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays.
  • Physical capability to lift and carry items weighing up to 75 pounds.
  • Team-oriented mindset with a readiness to follow management directives.
  • Professional demeanor in appearance and conduct.
  • OSHA certification is preferred but not mandatory.
