Position Overview:
The Branch Operations Supervisor role is essential in guiding daily activities to guarantee exceptional customer service and operational efficiency. You will collaborate with branch teams to enhance company initiatives and outcomes. Foster an environment where team members feel empowered and engaged in the company's success. You will report to an Operations Manager or Branch Manager.
Compensation:
This role is hourly, with a starting pay of $28.03/hour. The provided range serves as a guideline and is not a definitive guarantee of compensation. Various factors influence offer decisions, including a candidate's experience, qualifications, geographical area, and internal team equity.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver customer service and guidance regarding daily operations at the branch location.
- Clarify objectives for team members based on projects, priorities, and company strategy while providing ongoing feedback.
- Enhance the achievement of vital operational metrics in customer satisfaction, sales, safety, and operational enhancements.
- Ensure a positive customer experience to promote retention and satisfaction.
- Provide regular, direct, and constructive feedback to strengthen skills necessary for effective branch operations.
- Oversee counter transactions to offer appropriate support to team members.
- Facilitate onboarding and continuous training for team members.
- Develop work schedules to maintain productivity and appropriate staffing levels.
- Evaluate processes for improvement opportunities using Continuous Improvement methodologies. Recommend and implement changes to optimize defined processes and enhance sales and service.
- Encourage collaboration among all internal partners, including Sales, Branch Network, Customer Service Centers, and Onsite Services teams.
- May handle and respond to emergency customer calls outside of regular hours.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or Bachelor's degree.
- A minimum of 3 years of experience in customer service and sales.
- At least 2 years of management experience in a customer service setting.
- Ability to communicate the branch's vision to all employees.
- Experience in training individuals on processes, procedures, compliance, and product knowledge.
- Proficiency in using computers and software applications, including SAP.
- Capability to operate powered industrial equipment.
