We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Equipment Supervisor to join our team at PEAK Event Services. As a key member of our Warehouse Department, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our equipment rental and tenting company in the Northeast.
Key Responsibilities- Supervise and coordinate the activities of our Warehouse Department, ensuring that all tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.
- Train and develop new employees on our Departmental procedures and protocols.
- Conduct performance management and evaluations of employees to ensure they are meeting their job requirements.
- Pack and prepare equipment for specific events and ensure that all necessary items are available.
- Coordinate employee break and lunch times, as well as assign tasks and responsibilities for the day.
- Assist in the creation of weekly employee schedules and ensure that all necessary work is completed.
- Collaborate with our Sales team to create and fill last-minute orders and troubleshoot any Departmental issues that may arise.
- Develop and maintain efficient processes and procedures to ensure the smooth operation of our Department.
- Ensure the fulfillment of daily orders and maintain a high level of customer satisfaction.
- Must have experience operating a forklift and be able to pass a drug test if operating any company vehicles.
- Must be able to report to work as scheduled and be willing to perform tasks as assigned in a safe and conscientious manner.
- Must be able to work long days as necessary to complete work and be available to work days, nights, weekends, and holidays as part of our regular schedule.
- Must be able to repeatedly lift and carry up to 75 pounds and work in a team environment.
- Must be professional in appearance and behavior and have a strong emphasis on teamwork.
- OSHA Certification is preferred.
- Competitive pay rate of $30/hour.
