Position Overview:

Key Responsibilities:
The primary duty of this role is to support the Deputy Director for Operations in facilitating efficient operations within the office. This encompasses:

  • Managing administrative programs and ensuring compliance with relevant regulations.
  • Preparing official communications and maintaining confidential documentation.
  • Assisting the Continuity of Operations Planning Committee.
  • Taking meeting notes, transcribing discussions, conducting research, and drafting responses.
  • Handling expense reports and vouchers for the Deputy.

Work Schedule and Additional Information:
This position offers secure on-site parking and is a full-time role with standard hours from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, Monday through Friday, including a 30-minute lunch break.

Telework Opportunities:
There may be options for part-time telework after successfully completing a training period. To qualify for telework, candidates must have a reliable high-speed internet connection and work from an approved location within Pennsylvania. If telework is not feasible, candidates will have the option to report to the headquarters office.

Emergency Situations:
In case of emergencies or training exercises, this role may require travel, extended shifts, and work outside regular hours, including weekends and overnight shifts.

Salary Information:
The starting salary for this position is typically non-negotiable. New hires will receive the minimum starting salary as outlined in the job posting.

Qualifications:
Applicants should have a minimum of three years of progressively responsible experience in administrative roles. Formal post-secondary training in secretarial studies may substitute for experience on a year-for-year basis. Any equivalent combination of experience and training will also be considered.

Additional Requirements:
Candidates must meet residency requirements and be capable of performing essential job functions.
