- Inputting data into the financial processing system according to company protocols.
- Reviewing and correcting computer-generated reports as necessary.
- Assisting employees, vendors, and clients with inquiries related to accounts and procedures.
- Managing vendor payments by verifying invoices and preparing payments.
- Ensuring compliance with Sales & Use Tax regulations.
- Focusing on payroll accounting and associated reporting.
- Facilitating the collection of time cards within the ERP system.
- Participating in audits, management reporting, and tax filings to meet deadlines.
- Continuously seeking ways to enhance departmental quality through process improvements.
- Cross-training to support team members during absences.
- Performing additional accounting duties as required.
The ideal candidate will possess:
- A Bachelor's degree in accounting with a minimum of five years of progressive accounting experience.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other relevant software to enhance efficiency.
- Experience with Global Shop ERP systems and Paylocity.
- A strong understanding of US Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
- The ability to prioritize tasks and meet multiple deadlines in a dynamic environment.
- Attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills for effective interaction at all organizational levels.
- Permanent authorization to work in the US.
