  • Verifying, allocating, posting, and reconciling key accounts to maintain accuracy.

  • Auditing invoices against purchase orders and resolving discrepancies.
  • Investigating payment issues raised by vendors or purchasing agents.
  • Reviewing various financial documents for accuracy and compliance.
  • Monitoring accounts payable to ensure timely payments and resolving discrepancies.
  • Inputting data into the financial processing system according to company protocols.
  • Reviewing and correcting computer-generated reports as necessary.
  • Assisting employees, vendors, and clients with inquiries related to accounts and procedures.
  • Managing vendor payments by verifying invoices and preparing payments.
  • Ensuring compliance with Sales & Use Tax regulations.
  • Focusing on payroll accounting and associated reporting.
  • Facilitating the collection of time cards within the ERP system.
  • Participating in audits, management reporting, and tax filings to meet deadlines.
  • Continuously seeking ways to enhance departmental quality through process improvements.
  • Cross-training to support team members during absences.
  • Performing additional accounting duties as required.
Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • A Bachelor's degree in accounting with a minimum of five years of progressive accounting experience.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other relevant software to enhance efficiency.
  • Experience with Global Shop ERP systems and Paylocity.
  • A strong understanding of US Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
  • The ability to prioritize tasks and meet multiple deadlines in a dynamic environment.
  • Attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills for effective interaction at all organizational levels.
  • Permanent authorization to work in the US.

The salary range for this position is between $85,000 and $95,000, depending on experience.
