- Leads specific team while assisting with meeting or exceeding property goals.
- Creates and nurtures a property environment that emphasizes motivation, empowerment, teamwork, continuous improvement, and a passion for providing service.
- Understands employee and guest satisfaction results and develops action plans to address needed areas and expand on strengths.
- Sets clear expectations with the General Manager for the team.
- Verifies that the team has the capabilities to meet expectations.
- Leads by example, demonstrating self-confidence, energy, and enthusiasm.
- Assists employees in understanding guests' ever-changing needs and expectations and exceeding them.
- High school diploma or GED; 4 years of experience in the guest services, front desk, housekeeping, or related professional area.
- 2-year degree from an accredited university in Hotel and Restaurant Management, Hospitality, Business Administration, or related major; 2 years of experience in the guest services, front desk, housekeeping, or related professional area.
Marriott International offers a competitive salary range of $71,000 to $86,000 annually, as well as a bonus program, comprehensive health care benefits, 401(k) plan with up to 5% company match, employee stock purchase plan at 15% discount, accrued paid time off (including sick leave where applicable), life insurance, group disability insurance, travel discounts, adoption assistance, paid parental leave, health savings account (except for positions based out of or performed in Hawaii), flexible spending accounts, tuition assistance, pre-tax commuter benefits, other life and work wellness benefits, and may include other incentives such as stock awards and deferred compensation plans.
Benefits and incentive compensation may be subject to generally applicable eligibility, waiting period, contribution, and other requirements and conditions.
