Job Title: Accounting Manager

Community Choice Credit Union is seeking an experienced Accounting Manager to join our team. As a key member of our finance department, you will be responsible for overseeing the accounting operations, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, and providing financial guidance to the organization.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage the accounting department's operational functions, including financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting.
  • Develop and implement financial policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Provide financial guidance and support to the organization, including financial planning and analysis.
  • Oversee the preparation of financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
  • Manage the accounting team, including hiring, training, and evaluating staff.
  • Collaborate with internal and external auditors to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
  • Minimum 5-10 years of experience in accounting and finance, preferably in a financial institution or credit union.
  • Strong knowledge of financial regulations and laws.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills.
  • Ability to analyze financial data and make informed decisions.
