Key Responsibilities:
  • Providing accounting, payroll, and business administration support to Italian clients and their foreign parent companies in the United States.
  • Generating financial statements (monthly, quarterly, and annually) along with comprehensive reporting packages.
  • Preparing sales and use tax returns, as well as other state-specific informational returns and annual information returns.
  • Coordinating with payroll processing providers.
Required Qualifications:
  • A minimum of 1+ years of relevant accounting experience, including accounts receivable, accounts payable, and client communication.
  • Intermediate proficiency in the Italian language is essential.
  • Experience with accounting software such as QuickBooks, SAGE, Navision (Microsoft Dynamics), Datev, or SAP.
  • Able to thrive in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
  • Basic understanding of US-GAAP and the US tax system.
  • Proficient in MS Word and MS Outlook, with a working knowledge of MS Excel and Adobe software.
  • Exhibit a strong client-service orientation, handling sensitive information with discretion and understanding client needs.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • 2+ years of experience in a corporate accounting setting or a related field.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both oral and written.
Clientele:
  • Foreign-owned US subsidiaries, primarily from German-speaking nations.
  • Clients across various sectors, including manufacturing, distribution, and technology.
