Job Summary:

The Clinical Services Coordinator will provide direct therapeutic services to clients and program participants as needed, including group work and family therapy. The Coordinator will administer required behavioral and mental health assessments for children and families, facilitate comprehensive clinical-related training to interns and support staff, and coordinate services for each participant in conjunction with the case management team. The Coordinator will also participate in weekly case staffing and offer clinical feedback regarding client treatment needs, attend, facilitate, and assist with providing ongoing education and support services to adult caregivers seeking reunification, and provide crisis intervention and guidance to children and families regarding clinical components of crisis intervention and long-term treatment strategies. The Coordinator will apply a working knowledge of child welfare best practices to protect all clients in care and mitigate risk factors where possible. The Coordinator will maintain documentation of all clinical activities in accordance with program and state policy, maintain an updated, working knowledge of DHS and UC/ORR policy and operating procedures, meet regularly with supervisor to consult on cases, review case plan decisions, and evaluate client progress, provide translation support as needed for clients, sponsors, and staff, comply with laws and regulations regarding client confidentiality, provide supervision to interns as needed, and perform other duties as assigned.

Responsibilities:

Provide direct therapeutic services to clients and program participants as needed, including group work and family therapy.
Administer required behavioral and mental health assessments for children and families.
Facilitate comprehensive clinical-related training to interns and support staff.
Coordinate services for each participant in conjunction with the case management team.
Participate in weekly case staffing and offer clinical feedback regarding client treatment needs.
Attend, facilitate, and assist with providing ongoing education and support services to adult caregivers seeking reunification.
Provide crisis intervention and guidance to children and families regarding clinical components of crisis intervention and long-term treatment strategies.
Apply a working knowledge of child welfare best practices to protect all clients in care and mitigate risk factors where possible.
Maintain documentation of all clinical activities in accordance with program and state policy.
Maintain an updated, working knowledge of DHS and UC/ORR policy and operating procedures.
Meet regularly with supervisor to consult on cases, review case plan decisions, and evaluate client progress.
Provide translation support as needed for clients, sponsors, and staff.
Comply with laws and regulations regarding client confidentiality.
Provide supervision to interns as needed.
Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

Master's degree in Social Work with direct clinical experience.
Licensure (LMSW or LCSW-C) to provide clinical services in Georgia or eligible to obtain professional licensure or registration.
Bilingual in English and Spanish preferred.
Experience providing clinical services to refugee and/or immigrant populations, is strongly preferred.
Ability to work flexible hours including evenings and participate in emergency on-call.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and Spanish, including interpersonal communication, and clinical and persuasive writing skills.
Ability to work under stress or in a fast-paced environment, including crisis situations.
Excellent organizational and time management skills.
Ability to collaborate with others, including case management staff, educational team members, supervisors, and external stakeholders.
Computer skills adequate to perform essential functions (Apricot, Microsoft Office, and any internal case management software).
Must pass a criminal history screen, including state and local child protection agency registries.
Possess a valid driver's license.

Schedule:

This is a full-time position and typically works Monday - Friday 8:00 am - 5:00 pm but requires flexibility.
