Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and customer-focused Bilingual Patient Account Representative to join our team at HSIFIN. As a key member of our hospital business office, you will provide exceptional service to patients and customers, resolving account issues and ensuring timely payment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage patient accounts through inbound and outbound dialing campaigns, ensuring accurate and efficient resolution.
  • Provide top-notch customer service, addressing patient inquiries, processing credit card payments, and setting up payment plans.
  • Maintain thorough documentation of each patient contact or account activity, adhering to company and client policies.
  • Work effectively and efficiently, meeting production and customer service standards while adhering to state and federal laws, HIPAA, and other regulations.

Requirements:

To succeed in this role, you must possess:

  • Professional knowledge of credit, collections, and customer service principles, typically acquired through at least one year of experience in a hospital business office or medical accounts receivable environment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate clearly and respectfully by telephone and in writing.
  • Working knowledge of personal computers and automated dialer systems.
  • Knowledge of all related regulations, including client policies and procedures and HIPAA.

Preferred Qualifications:

Certified Patient Account Representative (CPAR) certification is desirable.
