About The Role

In this key position, you will collaborate closely with our Head of Strategy and executive team to drive various strategic initiatives and ecosystem growth programs. This role will work with leaders to solve top priority work streams, including scaling early product offerings and identifying key business initiatives for the company to pursue.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Strategic Planning: Develop and execute global go-to-market strategies and international expansion plans.
  2. Ecosystem Partnerships: Support and lead strategic ecosystem partnerships with the Head of Strategy and Ecosystem team.
  3. Cross-Functional Initiatives: Manage various cross-functional strategic initiatives, working with internal and external stakeholders to grow the company in new strategic regions.
  4. Business Outcomes: Assist the leadership team in driving key business outcomes and lead select projects independently.
  5. Market Research: Conduct market research, synthesize findings, and work with team members to propose recommendations that shape the company's strategy.
  6. Process Improvement: Help enhance the efficiency of the team by establishing new processes and upgrading current processes.
  7. Ecosystem Support: Support ecosystem projects in their fundraising efforts by connecting them with the best investors in our network.
  8. Aptos Ecosystem Fund: Support and grow the Aptos Ecosystem Fund investments with an active asset management strategy.
  9. KPIs and Metrics: Define KPIs and other metrics for ecosystem success and use those metrics as a reference for new and existing funnels.
  10. Ecosystem Growth: Support various internal and external ecosystem growth programs and initiatives.
  11. Community Alignment: Help the team build strong relationships with investors, industry players, clients, and strategic partners to ensure the company is at the forefront of new industry developments.
  12. Developer Community: Align the Aptos developer community with the broader Aptos community in lockstep with the Aptos ecosystem team.
  13. Strategic Projects: Identify strategic projects in the Aptos ecosystem for the Aptos Product team to direct engineering resources to support as these projects build on Aptos.
Requirements:
  1. 3-5 years of experience at a top-tier company in web3, management consulting, investment banking, or technology.
  2. Deep understanding of financial modeling, valuation, and the investment management landscape - particularly within the financial services, fintech, & crypto ecosystems.
  3. Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple competing priorities.
  4. Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills - ability to distill complex topics into a concise, consumable format.
  5. Ability to build strong relationships internally and externally with senior executives, analysts, and investors.
  6. A passion and deep understanding for web3 ecosystems and knowledge of the current Layer 1 landscape.
  7. Resourcefulness and the ability to bring creative, data-driven solutions to every problem and never see a challenge as a dead-end.
  8. Ability to drive projects independently, thrive on autonomy, and manage multiple initiatives while maintaining a high quality of work.
  9. Experienced and at ease with presenting and speaking in public.
