We're seeking a seasoned Account Executive to join our Commercial Sales team. As an integral part of this team, you'll be responsible for driving expansion across a territory of accounts and increasing software sales. Your passion for working with new technologies and technical concepts will help us identify growth opportunities for clients before they realize their needs.

This role is a great opportunity for a motivated and opportunistic individual who thrives in a proactive environment. You'll be working closely with the commercial sales team to build and manage a sales pipeline that meets or exceeds software and services sales quotas within your book of business.

You'll execute a solution-based sales process, encompassing multiple groups within mature accounts (200-2,000 employee size). Your ability to develop new business opportunities within existing customers by analyzing and proactively targeting high-value needs across multiple departments and lines of business will be essential in expanding Smartsheet's footprint and driving revenue or growth during renewals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Build and manage a sales pipeline to meet or exceed software and services sales quotas
  • Execute a solution-based sales process to drive expansion across a territory of accounts
  • Develop new business opportunities within existing customers by analyzing high-value needs
  • Leverage existing relationships to expand Smartsheet's footprint and drive revenue or growth during renewals

About You:

  • 5+ years of SaaS full cycle sales experience exceeding quota working in SMB accounts
  • 3+ years of experience managing customer relationships and maintaining relationships in a B2B environment
  • A thorough understanding of a SaaS evaluation process and ability to execute on each stage in the sales cycle

Compensation:

The estimated salary range for this role is $75,000-$95,000 USD per year, depending on qualifications and location. This role will also be eligible for a market competitive incentive opportunity and some roles may be eligible for a RSU stock grant upon accepted offer.
