Account Manager Job Description

LinkSquares is a leading LegalTech software company, recognized for its innovative approach to legal team management. As an Account Manager, you will play a key role in driving customer success and retention.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Take ownership of assigned territories and drive expansion and renewal engagement to focus on customer retention.
  • Create and execute customer campaigns to identify growth opportunities.
  • Drive gross retention rates and increased net retention rates.
  • Collaborate with the Customer Success, Marketing, and Legal teams to prepare and navigate negotiations and strategic upsell, cross-sell, and renewal opportunities.
  • Forecast accurately and provide clear next steps and positive business outcomes.
  • Become a product specialist within LinkSquares offerings to identify expansion sales opportunities.
  • Forge strategic relationships with internal stakeholders.
  • Proactively manage and prioritize weekly, monthly, and quarterly renewal and upsell activities.
  • Ability to work towards set targets and deadlines.
  • Obtain necessary internal approvals.
  • Track and report on pipeline activities using Salesforce, Gong.io, Outreach, and Catalyst.
Requirements:
  • 3+ years of proven experience handling and negotiating renewals, upsells, and cross-sells in a high-performance environment.
  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience in a related field.
  • CRM experience, such as Salesforce.com, Gong.io, Outreach, or Catalyst, is a plus.
  • Must be organized, detailed, and process-oriented, while being commercially savvy.
  • Ability to build strategic relationships at various levels, both internally and externally.
