Axon Enterprise is a leading innovator in the public safety sector, dedicated to empowering organizations with cutting-edge solutions. We are seeking an experienced Senior Sales Director to spearhead our Mid Market expansion efforts.

About the Role

This is a high-visibility, quota-carrying position that requires a seasoned sales leader with a proven track record of driving growth and revenue. As the Senior Sales Director, you will be responsible for building and managing a team of Account Executives, developing and executing strategic sales plans, and fostering strong relationships with key stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

  • Hire, develop, and lead a team of experienced Account Executives to achieve aggressive revenue targets
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive sales process improvements and identify new business opportunities
  • Analyze market trends, customer needs, and competitor activity to inform sales strategies and tactics
  • Maintain a deep understanding of Axon's products and services to effectively communicate their value proposition to customers

Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • 5+ years of experience in software sales leadership, preferably in a SaaS company
  • A successful track record of 100%+ of quota achievement as a manager and individual contributor in strategic sales
  • Prior experience recruiting, retaining, and developing a team from the ground up
  • High level of business acumen and understanding of how revenue leaders think
  • Strong team-oriented interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively interface with a wide variety of people and roles
